In October 2008, Intralot signed a 10-year contract with the Jamaican government to operate a fixed-odds betting operation through a network of 1,000 outlets. Intralot initially signed a contract with Big "A" Track Ltd., which holds a sports betting license. In 2008, Big "A" Track was acquired by Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) and Intralot acquired a 10% stake in the company.
